PRIVACY POLICY

Your data is your data - and with Clickidy there’s barely any of it. There are no accounts, so no name, no email, no password is ever collected. Nothing personal to leak, and nothing to sell.

What stays on your device ◢

• Your best scores, streaks and last run live in your browser’s local storage - on your machine, not our servers.
• Clear your browser data and they’re gone. There’s no copy anywhere else.

Your voice never leaves your device ◢

• The Mic Test reads your microphone entirely in your browser to draw the live level meter - no audio is ever uploaded.
• If you record a clip to play back, it’s held in memory on your machine and discarded the moment you reset or leave - it’s never sent anywhere or stored.
• The Sound Test only plays sound out; it needs no microphone at all.

What we measure ◢

We keep aggregate, anonymous counts - how many games were played, rough score distributions - to make the site better, and one day to replace the published norms we currently score against with numbers we have actually measured. Our own analytics is cookieless, is first-party, and never builds a profile of you. We run no third-party analytics and no advertising pixels of our own. How the numbers work: how we count.

Advertising ◢

Clickidy is free because it’s ad-supported, and advertising is the one part of the site that involves a third party. It is worth being precise about what that means, because the rest of this page is otherwise a list of things we don’t collect.

• We use Google AdSense to serve ads. As a third-party vendor, Google uses cookies to serve ads on this site.
• Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this and other sites on the internet.
• You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies generally at aboutads.info/choices and youronlinechoices.com.
• Where consent is required, you’ll be asked before personalised ads are served, and you can change that choice at any time.
• We never hand an advertiser anything personal, because we don’t have anything personal to hand over - no account, no email, no name.

Use of artificial intelligence ◢

We use artificial intelligence tools in the course of our work, including in the production of content, images, and software.

AI-assisted material is reviewed by a person before we publish or deliver it, and we remain responsible for everything published under the Clickidy name regardless of the tools used to produce it.

We do not provide your personal information to third-party AI providers for the purpose of training their models.

Where our infrastructure lives ◢

If you’re curious about the technical side - the servers your data is stored on, how that storage is secured, and how long information is retained - we publish our own full privacy and security policy covering that infrastructure.
